Lanmar Aviation, LLC is located in Groton, CT at the Groton, New London Airport (KGON). Lanmar is a full service fixed base operator, as well as a part 135 operator, and a full service maintenance facility. The maintenance facility is an approved FAA part 145 Certified Repair Station with ratings that include Airframe categories I and III, Limited Airframe, Engine, Radio, and Accessories Repair Station as well. The facility offers Pratt & Whitney, Cessna, Cirrus, and Raytheon maintenance, with factory trained and certified technicians. The Avionics facility is a dealer for Honeywell, Bendix/ King, Garmin, Chelton Flight Systems, Sandel, L3 Communications, Avidyne/ Ryan, Flight Display Systems, WSI, Aspen Avionics, Shadin, PS Engineering, Aircell, and JP Instruments.

Lanmar’s current facilities consist of two main hangars. The maintenance hangar (Lanmar 1) was constructed in 2001 is 100’x100’ with a 25’x100’ two-story office complex. Alongside the maintenance hangar there are eight jet maintenance and storage pods which will accommodate up to mid sized jet aircraft (57 foot wingspan).

The FBO hangar (Lanmar 2) was completed in 2005 and consists of 20,000 square feet of hangar space and 3,750 square feet of office space and lobby area. The FBO facility offers a full kitchen, a crew lounge, conference room, and management offices.
